Senator Regan Announces Redevelopment of IAC Brownfield Site in Carlisle Borough

(HARRISBURG) – Senator Mike Regan announced RACP funding to transform the IAC brownfield site which was formerly a 48-acre manufacturing site into a healthy, vibrant, income-producing extension of downtown Carlisle.

Regan explained that RACP is a Commonwealth grant program administered by the Office of the Budget for the acquisition and construction of regional economic, cultural, civic, recreational, and historical improvement projects.

“Today’s approval of $500,000 for Carlisle Productions, Inc. will have a large impact on Carlisle Borough and the surrounding area to bolster the revitalization of the IAC brownfield,” said Regan.

“The project is expected to create more than 220 local jobs over the next few years and will enhance Carlisle’s local tourism industry by better connecting key economic hubs to the downtown. In addition, the project will offer new hotel and retail amenities within walking distance of Carlisle’s largest attractions.”
