Senator Regan to Hold Peyton’s Law Press Conference

HARRISBURG, PA – As part of Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness Month, Senator Mike Regan (R-31) will hold a press conference regarding Senate Bill 836, known as Peyton’s Law, on Monday, October 21st at 12 noon in the Main Capitol Rotunda.

The legislation, introduced in honor of Peyton Walker of Camp Hill, a student athlete who died from Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA), aims to educate every student athlete and their parents about EKG testing to detect underlying heart conditions that can lead to SCA.

In conjunction with SB 836, Senator Regan is also the sponsor of Senate Resolution 228, which designated October as Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness Month in Pennsylvania.

Senator Regan will be joined by fellow legislators, advocates and members of the medical community.
