Regan Appointed Chairman of Senate Law and Justice Committee

HARRISBURG – Today Senator Mike Regan (R-31, Cumberland and York Counties) was appointed by Senate President Pro Tempore Jake Corman to serve as Chairman of the Senate Law and Justice Committee for the 2021-2022 legislative session.

The Senate Law and Justice Committee, which Regan has been a member of for the last four years, oversees issues pertaining to the Pennsylvania State Police, other law enforcement matters, and the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board.

“I am honored to have been appointed Chair of the Senate Law and Justice Committee and am grateful that Senator Corman has the confidence in my ability to lead this important committee,” said Regan. “I believe my previous experience as a committee member, as well as my 23 years as a US Marshal and as a member of the House of Representatives, will help me lead this committee in its work to address important legislation pertaining to our law enforcement and liquor laws.”

Regan previously served as Chairman of the Senate Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee in the 2019-2020 legislative session.
